Mary Felix - Administrator
With over a decade of experience in senior care, Mary Felix brings a rare blend of compassion, professionalism, and expertise to Solano Lifehouse Assisted Living and Memory Care. Her background spans both Assisted Living and Memory Care settings, where she has built a reputation for being both a knowledgeable leader and a loving presence.
Mary is deeply committed to creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for each resident. Her hands-on leadership style ensures that every individual is treated with dignity and respect—and that families feel supported and confident in their loved one’s care.
What Mary loves most about her work is the opportunity to truly connect. “Each resident has a story, a legacy, and a spark,” she says. “Being part of their journey is both an honor and a joy.”
Mary’s heart for seniors and her dedication to excellence make her an invaluable part of the Solano Lifehouse family.
Taylor Kearns – Med Tech
Taylor Kearns has been a dedicated Medication Technician since 2015 and joined the Solano Life House team in August of 2023. With nearly a decade of experience, Taylor brings both skill and heart to her role—ensuring that residents receive attentive, compassionate care every day.
She especially values the close-knit, family feel of Solano Life House. “Because we’re a smaller community, we’re able to be more present, more aware, and more responsive to our residents’ needs,” she shares. Taylor takes pride in supporting both residents and their families, and she’s proud to be part of a team that has been voted Best of Assisted Living since 2017.
Taylor’s calm presence, clinical knowledge, and genuine love for her work make her an important part of the Solano Life House family.

Bertha Cortez – Lead Cook
Bertha Cortez has been a beloved member of the Solano Life House team since 2017. She began her journey as a housekeeper and, through hard work, dedication, and a passion for serving others, worked her way up to become our Lead Cook.
Bertha takes pride in preparing meals that are not only nutritious but made with heart. Her goal is to bring comfort, warmth, and a sense of home to every plate she serves. “Food is love,” she says, “and I get to share that love with our residents every day.”
Her commitment to quality, her uplifting spirit, and her deep care for the well-being of residents make Bertha a cherished part of the Solano Life House family.
Mairyn Bolanos -Activity Associate
Mairyn Garibay joined the Solano Life House team in January 2025, bringing fresh energy, creativity, and compassion to her role as an Activity Associate. With a natural ability to connect with residents, Mairyn is passionate about creating meaningful experiences that spark joy, encourage engagement, and support emotional well-being.
From group games to one-on-one conversations, she makes sure every resident feels included and uplifted. “I love seeing smiles on their faces and knowing I played a part in making their day a little brighter,” she says.
Mairyn’s caring heart and dedication to enriching the lives of others make her a wonderful addition to the Solano Life House family.
